Visitation for Maelena Chummy Johnson, 35, of Mescalero will be Wednesday, October 30, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel of Ruidoso from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM, the prayer service will be Wednesday, at 6:00 PM at the Mescalero Reformed Church where the funeral service will be on Thursday, October 31, at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at the Mescalero Cemetery.
Maelena passed away Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Mescalero. She was born February 22, 1978 at Mescalero and had lived there all of her life.
She is survived by her mother, Henrietta Johnson father, Curtis Johnson brothers, Clyde Davis and Timothy Johnson sisters, Jerilyn Morgan and Myrtle Johnson many nieces and nephews and her companion, Ernest Bigmouth.
