Mac Smith

Mac Smith, 87, of Ruidoso passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2014 in Alamogordo. He was born July 11, 1926 at Portales, New Mexico. He moved to Ruidoso in 1999 from Richardson, Texas.

He graduated from Texas Tech University in 1949. He worked in the petroleum business from 1951 intil 1986 for Sunray DXSun OilSunoco. He was a member of J Bar J County Church, Lincoln County Medical Center Auxiliary and attended the Heritage Program for Senior Adults where he made life long friends who helped him thru so many of lifes changes.

He is survived by a son, Randy L. Smith of Fairview, TX daughter, Debbie Perkins of Ruidoso two grandchildren, Price and Cooper Smith.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 19, at 10:00 AM at J Bar J Country Church with a visitation beginning at 9:00 AM. Burial will follow at the Ruidoso Hondo Valley Cemetery.

The family has requested memorials to the J Bar J Country Church.
