Mabel Zamora

Mabel Zamora, 86, of Carrizozo passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 in Carrizozo. She was born March 21, 1929 at Jacks Peak, NM to Julia and Salomon Aragon. He had lived in Lincoln County all of her life. She married Arturo Zamora on July 10, 1948 in Carrizozo and he preceded her in death on July 19, 1993. She attended Santa Rita's Catholic Church.

She is survived by her children, Susie Miller of Alamogordo, Margie Baca of Carrizozo, Dorothy Zamora of Santa Fe, Veronica Whittaker of Carrizozo and Chris Zamora of Carrizozo; 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by two sons, Arthur Zamora and Max Zamora.

The rosary will be Tuesday, May 5, at 10:30 AM at Santa Rita's Catholic Church with the funeral mass to follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery.
