Leo Salcido

SALCIDO, LEO Age 77, a resident of Albuquerque, died Monday, November 12, 2013. He had lived in the Barelas neighborhood for many years. Leo was a part of the Sacred Heart Church.

In his early life he was a welder, mechanic and a part time security officer but he always made time for his children. Later in life he spent as much time with his grandchildren and greatgrandchildren by, going on fishing and hunting trips, but his favorite was going to bingo.

He is survived by his greatgrandson Thomas Jeff and granddaughter Bennette Garcia of Albuquerque his children, Leola Salcido and Danny Luna, Leo Salcido Jr. Byito and Companion, Wanima Baca, Mahala and Tom Contreras, Tobias and Cathy Salcido, Eli and Lindy Salcido, Marcus and Marge Salcido 29 grandchildren and 23 greatgrandchildren sisters and brother Mary Morales, Prastina Morales and husband and Eloy Salcido and many other family and friends. Mr. Salcido was preceded in death by parents, Faustino and Predicanda Salcido brothers and sister, Jon, David, Melvin, Albert and Emilia Salcido stepson Benny L. Garcia. He will be dearly missed by all.

Rosary was Tuesday, November 19, 2013, 9:00 A.M. St. Judes Church in San Patricio, N.M. with the funeral mass at 9:30 A.M. Burial followed at the Hondo Cemetery.
