Laverne Charles

She had lived in Mescalero most of her life. She liked reading, spending time with her grandson and family and riding motorcycles. She was a homemaker and attended the Mescalero Reformed Church. She is survived by her husband, James Charles; daughter, Yvette Beetley; grandson, Elijah Ross; nephews, Alfred Kayitah, Gilbert Kayitah, Henry Kayitah and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bessie and Frank Y'barra.
