Laura Williams

Laura Williams, 57, of Mescalero passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at her home. She was born November 24, 1956 at Mescalero and had lived there all of her life. She read, wrote and spoke Apache and she helped work on the Apache Dictionary. She attended the Mescalero Reformed Church.

She is survived by her children, Tanya Keene, Shawn Keene and Ida Keene sister, Patrice Enjady and Norine Austin brother, Curtis Williams and 5 grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 20, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM with the prayer service at 7:00 PM at the Mescalero Reformed Church where the funeral service will be on Friday, November 21, at 9:00 AM. Burial will follow at the Mescalero Cemetery.
