Laura Coyote

Laura Juanita Coyoto, 57, of Mescalero passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017 in Albuquerque. She was born September 30, 1959 at Cortez, Colorado and moved to Mescalero in 1972 from Towaoc, Colorado.

She is survived by her children, Natasha Blake, Philbert Choneska Jr., Brandon Choneska, Patrick Choneska and Michael Carrillo; brothers, Chris Coyote, Matthew Pena, Rodney Pena and Shawn Pena; sisters, Winona Chimal and Teresa Acosta; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Visitation will be at LaGrone Funeral Chapel in Ruidoso on Friday, August 18, from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. with the prayer service at 6:00 P.M. at St. Joseph's Mission. The funeral mass will be on Saturday, August 19, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph's Mission with burial at the Mescalero Cemetery.
