L. Lindsay

L. Preston Lindsay, 82, of Nogal, NM passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at his home. He was born November 19, 1934 at Nogal, NM and had lived all of his life in Lincoln County.

He went to work for Mountain States Telephone and Telegraph Company and worked for them and retired after 35 years with Mountain Bell Telephone Company, he served in the Army. He married Connie Dean on June 7, 1997 at Nogal, NM.

He is survived by his wife, Connie; children, Tammara Sue Trujillo and her husband Christopher of Simi Valley, CA, James Craig Williams and his wife, Jolene of Lordsburg, NM, Bennie Ulric Williams and his wife, Anda of Radium Springs, NM and Robert Glyn Lindsay and his wife, Adeline of Lordsburg, NM; brother, Wesley B. Lindsay and his wife, Margo of Carrizozo; sister, Ronda Jean Taylor and her husband, Glen of Elm Grove, LA; brother-in-law, George Dean of Bosquecito, NM; sister-in-law, Sally Ann Zimmerman of Lemitar, NM; two step-children, Gary Brown of Nogal, NM and Marsha Brown of Lemitar, NM; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

His service will be Saturday, December 10, at 10:30 AM in the Trinity United Methodist Church in Carrizozo with burial at Evergreen Cemetery.
