Krista Lee Padilla

Krista Lee Padilla, age 35, passed away on December 16, 2024. She was born on March 18, 1989, in Ruidoso, New Mexico.

Krista was a beautiful person inside and out. She cherished spending time in the beautiful mountains of Lincoln County where she enjoyed hunting for arrowheads. She had a great laugh that could light up any room. Krista was kindhearted with a special love for her animals.

Krista is survived by her son, Siddeeq Barela; daughters, Dream Barela, and Adayzhah Barela; mother, Theresa Cleary; sister, Nichomy Padilla; aunts, Jane Amaya, Mary Amaya, Sabrina Randolph, and Stacey Padilla; uncles, Sal Padilla, Freddie Padilla, and Tony Padilla; niece, Devinee Redmon; nephew, Jared Redmon; dear friend and father of her children, Tim Barela Sr.; her beloved fur baby, Dolly and many other friends and family too numerous to mention.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Esquipula and Elizabeth Padilla; uncles, Skip Padilla, and Joseph Padilla; aunt, Rose and Steve Wheeler; God father, Abe Padilla; and aunt, Valerie Padilla.

Services will be Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Santa Rita Catholic Church in Carrizozo, New Mexico. The rosary will begin at 10:00 AM with mass to follow at 10:30 AM. Inurnment will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery in Carrizozo.
