Kathy Chapman

Kathy Chapman, 64, of Capitan passed away Saturday, May 23, at her home. She was born January 3, 1951 at Capitan and had lived in Lincoln County all of her life. She had driven a school bus for the Capitan Schools and was CEO and founder of OATH(Organization Against Trafficking Humans). She married Steve Chapman on July 2, 1971 at El Paso, Texas.

She is survived by her husband, Steve; 2 daughters, Daisy Chapman and Sara Chapman; son-in-law, Chris Olson; granddaughter, Rebecca Chapman and a sister, Charlotte Emmons. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joy and Charlie Leslie.

Graveside service will be Friday, May 29, at 3:00 PM at the LaGloria Cemetery with the Rev. Hayden Smith officiating.
