Juan Olvera

Our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and son, Juan Manuel Olvera, 62, of Ruidoso, NM, passed away peacefully on Friday November 11, 2022, surrounded by family. Juan was born on July 2, 1960, in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico, to Jose Trinidad Olvera and Kathryn Olvera Roff. He spent his first 20 years in Puerto Vallarta before moving to Ruidoso, NM, with his family, where he spent the rest of his life. The "Juan and only", will be remembered for his care-free way of life, his love for his family, and his humor. He helped and touched many lives during his professional career in the construction business and was loved dearly by his colleagues, family and friends.

Juan was preceded in death by his mother Kay Olvera, his grandparents Betty Brown Roff and Clarence (Evelyn) Roff, and his nephew CJ Gomez.
He is survived by his father Jose Trinidad Olvera, his wife Maria Olvera, his brothers and sisters, Cesar (Deanna) Olvera, Reyna (Gabriel) Del Real, Veronica (Cesar) Gomez, Francisco (Cinda) Olvera, Angie (Jay) Julian, and Amy (Joaquin) de Monet. He is also survived by his children Anya (Russ) Wroten, Alyssa (Jordan) Mack, Ali (Derek) Kaufman, Robert Herrera, Amairany Olvera, Erika Herrera, and Cynthia Herrera, former wife Sandy Topete and numerous grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
