JOYCE NEGLEY

Joyce went home to be with the LORD on August 11, 2018. Joyce is a loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend and artist. She was born in Tornillo,Texas, on January 18, 1937, to A.E. And Mary Alice Cash. Joyce was raised and graduated from High School in Las Cruces, NM in 1955. She married Wayne Negley on May 31, 1955. Joyce loved her children, Woody, Donna, and Bobby, and was very involved in their activities and lives. She was known for her love of gardening and was a talented artist. She loved the mountains and resided in Ruidoso, NM for 33 years, after many years in West Texas.

Joyce is a life long follower of Jesus Christ, passing on her strong faith to her children and others. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and those whose lives she touched.

She was preceded in death, by her parents, A.E. And Mary Alice Cash, and her brother, Bobby Cash, and her son, Woody Negley.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Wayne Negley; her children: Donna Stell and husband, Jay, of Buffalo Springs, Texas, Bobby,and wife, Lupe, of San Antonio, Texas; her grand children, Shane Knight and Stacy Finley, of Winnsboro, Texas, Marisa, Lili, and Stanley Negley, of San Antonio, Texas; and her brothers, Jerry Cash, of Taos, NM, Alvis Cash and Pat Cash, of Las Cruces, NM; and 3 great grand children. Joyce had a loving nature and left behind many friends.

A Life Celebration will be held at La Grone Funeral Chapel in Ruidoso, NM, on Monday, August 13th, at 1:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the church or charity of your choice.
