Jose Carrillo

Jose Luis Mendez Carrillo, 67, of Ruidoso passed away Thursday, January 21, 2016 at his home in Ruidoso. He was born June 28, 1948 at Madera, Chihuahua, Mexico. He moved to Ruidoso in 1981 from Albuquerque and was owner/operator of his construction company.
He married Maria Dolores Hernandez on February 10, 1971 at Madera, Chihuahua, Mexico.

He is survived by his wife, Maria of Ruidoso; children, Sonia Y. Garcia of Corrales, NM, Maribel Kindell of Phoenix, AZ and Saul H. Mendez of Santa Teresa, NM and 9 grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 24, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. and then on Monday, Jan. 25, at Noon until 2:00 P.M. at First Southern Baptist Church in Ruidoso Downs with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 P.M. Burial will follow at Gavilan Memorial Gardens.
