John Youse
December 7, 1946 — February 4, 2019
John Robert Youse, known as Johnnie, was born December 7, 1946, and went to heaven on February 4, 2019, from his home in Capitan, NM. He was a proud veteran of the U. S. Army who served in the 9th Air Calvary, C Troop, in Vietnam as a helicopter mechanic. During his career he was a licensed air frame and power plant mechanic, truck driver, auto mechanic, and all-around handyman.
He is survived by wife Linda Lou Youse, and daughters, Robin LaGasse (Husband, Steve) and Crystal Sue Buckrem; grandchildren, Kyle (Wife, Kristen), Dalton (stationed in Korea), Fallon, Deagen and JoLynn of Florida; sister Linda Hood (Husband, Troy) of Rio Rancho; nieces, nephews; and several great nieces and nephews with whom he was close. He was predeceased by a daughter Malisa, of Florida and father and mother Mr. and Mrs. John R. Youse of Ruidoso.
Graveside services with military honors will be held Monday, February 18, 2018, 1:30 p.m., at Ft. Stanton State Veteran's Cemetery.
