John Tussenbroek

John Van Tussenbroek, 80, of Alto passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018 in Alamogordo. He was born July 21, 1937 at Salt Lake City, Utah and moved to Lincoln County in November, 1981 from Phoenix, Arizona to become the regional manager of Contel Telephone Co. Following his retirement, he became a General Contractor and quickly developed the reputation for building quality award winning custom homes in the Alto Area. John was an avid golfer, enjoyed outdoor activities as well as socializing with family and friends. John was loved by all and he will be missed.

He married Alyce on July 21, 1976 at Phoenix, Arizona. He is survived by his wife, his four children, one step-son, one sister and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

His memorial service will be Thursday, April 19, at 2:00 P.M. at LaGrone Funeral Chapel in Ruidoso.

The family has requested memorials to Alzheimer's Disease Research or Lincoln County Humane Society.
