Graveside service for John Parr, 89, of Capitan will be Wednesday, Sept. 2, at Noon in the Ft. Stanton Cemetery at Ft. Stanton, NM. Mr. Parr passed away Saturday, August 29, he was born September 19, 1919 at San Antonio, Texas. He moved to Lincoln County 20 years ago from Tow, Texas and had served in the Army Air Corp and was retired Civil Service as a Mission Evaluation Inspector. He is survived by his wife, Elsie Parr; a step-son, James Langford and a grandson, Vince Langford.
