John Fossum

John Gaynell Fossum, 78, of Mescalero passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2015 in Alamogordo. He was born August 4, 1937 at Keshena, Wisconsin. He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War, he attended St. Joseph's Mission.

He is survived by his wife, Ivora; son, Ewell John Fossum of Mescalero; 3 daughters, Jean Cox of Keshena, Wisconsin, Miriam Fossum and Natalie Fossum both of Mescalero; 16 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Steven Fossum.

His funeral mass will be Wednesday, August 12, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph's Mission. Graveside service will be Thursday, August 13, at 2:15 P.M. at Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM.
