John Adams

John H. Adams was born October 19,1935 in Santa Rosa County, Florida. He peacefully passed at his home in Mescalero, NM on January 29, 2015 with surrounding family members. John proudly served in the United States Air Force. He was married to Norma Shosh for the past 57 years.

John is survived by his wife Norma Shosh-Adams, one son, Jonathan E. Adams Sr. and one daughter Charlene Adams-Bigmouth all of Mescalero, NM. He is also survived by one brother James E. Adams Sr. and two sisters, Myrtice Giella and Marie West, all from the state of Florida. Also grandsons James E. Adams, Johnny J. Adams, Jonathan E. Adams Jr., Joshua Y. Adams, Damian J. Morgan, David A. Morgan and one granddaughter, DeShawna C. Morgan and numerous great-grandchildren. John retired from Holloman Air Force base as a civil service worker. He enjoyed life and had a unique strength of knowledge and kindness. He will be greatly missed. John preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie E. Adams and Althea L. Young, son, David L. Adams and one daughter Melissa A. Adams-LaPaz.

Memorial services will be held at the Apache Assembly of God church in Mescalero, NM on Friday, February, 6, 2015 at 10 A.M. Burial to follow at Mescalero Cemetery.
