Joe Renteria

Joe Reynosa Renteria was born May 24, 1928 in Norwalk California. He passed away on Monday, March 24, 2014 in El Paso Texas. Joe is survived by his beloved Daughters, Maria Renteria of Woodland Hills California and Jo Ann Robertson of Boise Idaho. His Brother Manuel Renteria and his Wife Ruth of Norwalk California and His Sister in Law and brother in law Sue and Biil Kreins of Alto New Mexico. Joe had many grandchildren and great grandchildren who survive him.

Joe was a veteran of the Korean War and served in the U.S. Army aviation corps. Joe entered Aerospace at Douglas aircraft after being discharged and participated in the DC8,9andlO aircraft as well as many military aircraft, Joe retired from McDonald Douglas and had a second aviation career with Northrop Aviation on the F18 program retired again and moved to Ruidoso New Mexico in early 2000. Joe had a unique career that most could only dream of, he led teams around the world for Douglas repairing and returning crashed aircraft to Service, Joes ability to put damaged aircraft back together in the most adverse conditions was legion in the industry.

Joe was an extremely brilliant man when dealing with his female family. It was a simple two words, Yes Dear

Joe was preceded in death by his daughter Lisa Renteria on November 29, 2013 and his wife, Sally J Renteria on March 17, 2014.

The family has requested memorials to the Humane Society of Lincoln County.
