Jimmy McTeigue, 82, of Arabela passed away Monday, November 16, 2015 at his home. He was born July 25, 1933 at Arabela and had lived most of his life in Lincoln County. He worked at Los Alamos National Labs from 1960 until 1970, he then came back to Lincoln County and worked at Ft. Stanton as a farm instructor from 1970 until his retirement and he loved to hunt.
He is survived by his wife, Alice; 7 sons, Kyle McTeigue, James McTeigue, David McTeigue, Ace Griego, Paul Greigo, Richard Griego and Jim Griego; 6 daughters, Jolyn McTeigue, Doreen McTeigue-Garcia, Mona Conger, Sissy Griego, Kimberly Griego and Mickie Vega; a brother, Bill McTeigue and a sister, Lucia Sanchez; 22 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cleo McTeigue.
Most important to him was his Faith, Wife, Family and Friends.
The rosary will be Saturday, November 21, at 9:00 A.M. with the funeral mass at 10:00 A.M. at St. Jude's Catholic Church in San Patricio with burial to follow at the Hondo Cemetery
