Prayer service for Jess Shendo, 78, of Mescalero will be Friday, December 6, at 6:00 PM with the funeral service on Saturday, December 7, at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at the Mescalero Cemetery.
Mr. Shendo passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 in Ruidoso. He was born March 13, 1935 at Mescalero and had lived there all of his life. He was retired from Forestry.
He is survived by 13 children, Idella Starr, Lynelle TreasWilson, Toni TreasJuarez, Naomi Sainz, T. Jan Treas, Edith Mora, Lyman Peso, Shelli Shendo, Gwendolyn Peso, Jessalyn Saenz, Lana John, Helena Shendo and Estelle Hubbard 34 grandchildren and over 40 great grandchildren.
