Jeffrey Mendez

Jeffrey Mitchell Mendez, 49, of Mescalero passed away Thursday, August 10, 2017 in Mescalero, he was born April 15, 1968 at Mescalero and had lived there all of his life. He worked at the Inn of the Mountain Gods. He married Inez Shanta on July 10, 2012 at Mescalero.

He is survived by his wife, Inez; his children, Terri Mendez Trujillo, Julius Mendez, Edmond Shanta, Brooklyn Mendez and Jeffries Mendez; sister, Lisa C. Hoahwah-Yackeyonny; brothers, Carlton Hoahwah Jr., Tyronn Hoahwah and Roger Mendez and 4 grandchildren.

The prayer service will be Tuesday, August 15, at 7:00 P.M. in the Mescalero Assembly of God Church where the funeral will be on Wednesday, August 16, at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow at the Mescalero Cemetery.
