Jean (Jeannie) Evonne (Pierson) Ryan, born May 29, 1938, was one who lived a life of compassion, enthusiasm, and love.  Jeannie passed on at the age of eighty-five to be with her Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus on October 8, 2023.

She graduated as valedictorian of her high school class in Turner, Montana.  She then attended and graduated from Billings Business College. After graduation, she became a bookkeeper for O.M. Wold Implement Company.

Jeannie married Wesley Irvin Ryan of Big Timber, MT on July 9, 1960.  They were married for sixty-three years, until her passing.  She is survived by her husband Wes Ryan of Ruidoso, NM; four children, Glenn Ryan and wife Brenda of North Richland Hills, TX, Sherrie Koehler and husband Bob Koehler of Alto, NM, Kirk Ryan and wife Tanya of Grapevine, TX, and Kristie Eamello and husband Brandon of Boerne, TX; grandchildren, Joshua Ryan, Janae Spence, Sarah Reynolds, Ellyn Cornell, Madison Ryan, Jordan Grissom, Jaxon Ryan, Triston Eamello, Tylie Eamello, and Taydon Eamello; and great-grandchildren, Reese Spence, Dylan Spence, Layton Reynolds, and Kenzie Reynolds.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Ellen Pierson; and her sisters, Beryl McCormick, and Linda Young.

Her interests included playing the piano at church, singing duets with her husband, and cooking for and fellowshipping with her family and friends.  She was a loyal supporter of local sports and her children.  She was a prayer warrior for her family and friends, as well as providing love and encouraging words when it was needed.  She was a devoted wife, mom, grandma and great-grandma.

She will be truly missed but has left a legacy of love and support for her family that will be treasured for generations.  Memorial services and a celebration of Jeannie Ryan’s life will be held on November 4, 2023, at 11am, at the First Baptist Church of Ruidoso, NM.
