Jane Giese

Jane E. Giese, 75, of Alto, NM passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2016 in El Paso, Texas. She was born May 12, 1940 at Waukesha, Wisconsin to Carrie and William Pickard. She attended college in Waukesha, Wisconsin and attained a degree in Hospitality Management. She married Lance R. Giese on October 6, 1962 at Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

In February 1996 Jane and her husband Lance moved from Hales Corners, Wisconsin to Alto and built their dream home with a spectacular view of Sierra Blanca. She was able to spend 20 wonderful years here to include being on the Alto Lakes Golf and Country Club board of directors. She had a real loved for volunteering at J Bar J Country Church and made many new friends along the way. She will always be remembered and missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Lance R. Giese; son, Darryl Giese and his wife, Sandra Kay of Eagle, WI; daughter, Colleen Giese of South Milwaukee, WI; brother, Robert Pickard of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; 3 grandchildren, Jacob Giese, James Artrip and Luke Bachmann.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 13, at J Bar J Country Church from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. with the funeral service at 11:00 A.M.

The family has requested memorials to the J Bar J Country Church.
