Funeral Mass for Jim Penrod, 77, of Carrizozo will be Wednesday, January 5, 2011, at 10:00 AM at Santa Ritas Catholic Church in Carrizozo with burial to follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery in Carrizozo.
Jim was born December 8, 1933 at Rapid City, Michigan. He passed away Sunday, December 26, 2010 in Carrizozo. He had lived in Carrizozo since 1985 moving from Rapid City, Michigan. He was an electrician and attended Santa Ritas Catholic Church. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He married Mary Verdugo on February 15, 1992 at Carrizozo.
Survivors include: his wife, Mary Penrod six children, James Penrod Jr., Susan Henry, Gayle Penrod, Linda Najar, Becky Hill, and Valeria Pickett his brother, Wlater Penrod and 7 grandchildren.
