James "Wapo" Caje , 33, of Mescalero passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Mescalero. He was born on September 25, 1983 in Ruidoso, New Mexico.

He is survived by his wife, Lavonica Caje, brothers & sisters, Stephanie Torres, Davina Caje, Joseph Caje, Angelica Depaula Caje, Amanda Caje, Matthew Torres, Wilson Burgess and Fritz Burgess. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Dorinda Caje, brothers, Ivan Burgess Sr., Thomas Burgess and Richard Caje Jr.

Prayer service will be Tuesday, April 18, at Mescalero Assembly of God Church at 6:00 P.M.. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, April 19, at 10:00 A.M. at the Mescalero Assembly of God Church with burial in the Mescalero Cemetery.
