Jacquelyn “Jacqi” Tomison, a woman of profound faith, love, and dedication, went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 7, 2026. Born on April 10, 1942, to Angeline (Bolf) and Martin Cuba of Levelland, Texas, Jacqi led a vibrant life that beautifully balanced professional success, personal passions, and an unwavering devotion to her family. Jacqi graduated from Levelland High School in 1959 and began a career that showcased her strong work ethic, including early years spent working at Lamb County Electric and GE Credit. It was in 1966, while working full-time and ambitiously attending college at night, that she met the love of her life, De Tomison. The two were married on July 15, 1966. Together in Levelland, they built a beautiful life, rooted in love and partnership, and began their family. Jacqi’s proudest achievements were her children, and she poured her heart into raising them. In 1973, she and De co-founded American Real Estate. Following the launch of their business, Jacqi's leadership shone brightly as she served as the President of the Levelland Board of Realtors. She also became highly active within the Texas Association of Realtors, serving as an instrumental force for progressive change in the Texas real estate industry. Never one to stop learning, Jacqi later returned to college, proudly earning her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Texas Tech University in May 1994. Driven by a deep desire to help others, she successfully counseled and uplifted many people throughout her life.Beyond her career and studies, Jacqi was a passionate lover of animals. She became a well-respected Yorkshire Terrier breeder and owner, and her beloved "fur babies" were always cherished members of the household.
