Jacob Alejandro Ramirez

Jacob Ramirez, age 15, passed away on October 2, 2025. 

Jacob was a loving child who adored his family. He loved paying with legos and reading his bible. Even through his battles, he always had a smile on his face. He brought joy to all who were blessed enough to know him. 

For Jacob-

Today is supposed to be the end of childhood cancer awareness month, but for many people, including us, childhood cancer awareness is every day. We pray for the warrior children and teenagers in treatment that they finish successfully and can ring the bell. We pray for the survivors that they do not have side effects or secondary cancers in the future. We pray for healing for the siblings of angels and their parents. We pray for more funding and research to find cures for childhood cancer. We pray for higher survival rates and better treatment options. We would like to thank all the amazing families that have made this a little easier. May God bless you always. 

Jacob is survived by his loving mother, Martha Flores; brothers, Saul Ramirez, and Andrew Rey; sisters, Ashley Ramirez, Chelsie Garcia, Leslie Rey, and Kehlani Rey; grandparents, Socorro Espino and Julio Flores; uncle, Cesar Flores; cousins, Neyva Flores, Kimberly Flores, and Destiny Flores. 

A memorial for Jacob will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Ruidoso Downs Racetrack Chapel.
