Isabel Portio

Isabel Lueras Portio, 82, longtime resident of Carrizozo, NM passed away
Sunday, June 14, 2015, peacefully at her home in Carrizozo. Isabel was born
February 12, 1933 in Ancho, NM. Mrs. Portio was a homemaker who enjoyed
crocheting and making baby blankets for all her grandchildren.
She was a member of the Santa Rita's Catholic Church in Carrizozo.

Mrs. Portio is survived by her husband, Aron Portio of 64 years;
children, Rosalie Portio of Las Cruces, Dorothy O'Brien & her husband Edward of
Albuquerque, Julie Scott of Albuquerque, Joe Portio and his wife Angelica of Belen,
Mary Mora and her husband Gilbert of Edgewood, Jimmy (James) Portio and his wife, Kimberly
of Ruidoso, Sharon Vigil and her husband Richard of Carrizozo and Clarence Beltran Jr.
of Carrizozo; 25 grandchildren 26 great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild;
one sister, Feliz Baltas Baltas of Las Vegas, Nevada . She was preceded in
death by her parents Santiago & Ignacia Lueras ; three sisters, Rosa Martinez,
Aresenia Zamora & Nacha Verdugo; two brothers, Daniel Lueras Sr. &
David Lueras, one daughter, Kathleen Portio Wheeler and son, Robert Portio.

Services will be held Saturday June 20th 2015 at Santa Rita's Catholic Church
With the Rosary at 10:30 A.M. with the funeral mass to follow at 11:00 A.M.
