Gloria Montes

Gloria Chavez Montes, 86, of Albuquerque passed away on Friday, May 8, 2015. She was born Feb.
24,1929 at San Patricio, NM. She lived in Ruidoso most of her life, operating a successful retail shop in
midtown. She retired and moved to Albuquerque in 1995. She married former Ruidoso Chief Of Police,
Orlando S. Montes in 1951 and he preceded her in death in 1994.

She is survived by her son Mike Montes and wife Micki of Albuquerque; 4 grandchildren, Chris Montes,
Nicole Montes, Evan Montes and wife Ginger, and Sarah Montes ; and 2 beautiful great grandchildren
Luke and Mindi. She was preceded in death by her son Filbert Montes in 2013.

The rosary will be Wednesday, May 20 7:30 P.M. at St. John XXIII in Albuquerque . Burial will follow Friday, May 22 at 10:00 A.M. in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
