Glenda Lindenberger

November 17, 1942 — June 4, 2018

After a 15 month battle with ovarian cancer, Glenda Lindenberger passed peacefully into the arms of her beloved savior Jesus on June 4th, 2018 at the age of 75. Born in Susanville, California November 17th, 1942, she was the second child of Everett and Virgie Ray. She was preceded in death by both parents, a brother and her son. She sadly leaves behind her beloved husband of nearly 44 years, Jim.

Glenda is also survived by her loving daughter and 2 stepchildren, 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, and her sister and two brothers and numerous nieces and nephews.

When Glenda was in her mid 20's, she received Jesus Christ as her Lord & Savior. This event brought a dramatic change in Glenda that shocked every person she knew. And because of this, her passion in life was now sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. She wanted everyone to have that same life-changing experience.

In her early 30's, Glenda was introduced to Stonecroft Ministries and Christian Women's Clubs. Her greatest joy became helping other women prepare their personal testimony to tell others how Jesus had changed their lives, traveling many miles around the country with friends, mentoring, organizing Christian Women's Clubs and sharing her faith in her Lord.

Glenda believed fervently in Bible studies. She led many group studies, mentoring women one on one to "hide God's Word deep in their hearts."

One will never know, this side of heaven, how many lives were eternally changed by Glenda's bold faithfulness to present the Good News of Jesus Christ.

For the past 8 years, she has been a faithful member of Gateway Church of Christ. And in lieu of flowers has requested that any donations be sent to Gateway to help in furthering the gospel or to Christian Services here in Ruidoso.
