He lived in Mescalero all of his life. He worked for B.I.A. as a tree thinner and graduated from Mescalero High School lin 2004. He attended Mescalero Reformed Church. Survivors include his father, Silas Cochise Sr.; 5 brothers, Malachi Cochise, Winston Cochise, Winslow Cochise-Rocha, Silas Cochise Jr. and Travis Cochise; 8 sisters, Tina Cochise, Colleen Cochise, Millette Saenz, Inez Cochise Jr., Anna Cochise, Tazalynn Cochise, Gina Via and Jonie Cochise. He was preceded in death by his mother, Inez cochise Sr.; two brothers, Forrest Cochise and Christopher Cochise.
