Eulalia Chavez

Lala Chavez, 93, of Carrizozo passed away on Saturday, July 18, at her home. She was born July 2, 1922 at Raventon, NM and had lived in Lincoln County all of her life. She worked at the Raventon School at an early age. She attended Santa Rita's Catholic Church.

She is survived by her children, Mary Treece, Mabel Candelaria, Godfrey Chavez, Lorena Spraggins, Gloria Chavez-Sampson, Albina Chavez, Barbara Barela, Vivian Chavez; 17 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rosary service will be Thursday, July 23, at 10:00 AM at Santa Rita's Catholic Church with the funeral mass at 10:30 A.M. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
