Prayer service for Elvera Archuleta Lucero, 81, of Carrizozo will be Thursday, May 6, at 6:00 PM at Santa Ritas Catholic Church in Carrizozo where the funeral mass will be on Friday, May 7, at 10:00 AM with burial to follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery. Mrs. Lucero passed away Monday, May 3, 2010 at her home. She was born February 25, 1929 at Carrizozo. She attended Santa Ritas Catholic Church.
Survivors include a son, Thomas Raymond Lucero two daughters, Rosemary Gallegos and Debra Marquez three brothers, William Archuleta and his wife Pristina, Ernie Archuleta and his wife, Lindy and Gilbert Archuleta 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Lucero on February 6, 2009, a son, Jesse James Marquez and a grandson, Stephen Ortiz.
