Elsie King

Jody King(Elsie Joanne King) left our sides quietly on the morning of September 6, 2017 at her home with loved ones in Ruidoso.

Her family and friends embrace and celebrate her life as an artist, a teacher, a sailor, a caregiver, a musician and and as a nationally ranked maters swimmer. She graced us all with abundant laughter, love and joy. Jody never stopped reaching out to inspire or help others. She was brave beyond words.

Jodys family and friends celebrate a woman that added brilliant color and light to their lives. Thank you Jody, there will always be a place set for you at our table.

She is survived by her siblings, Shiela Loggins of Wilton, CT., Marcia R. King of Ruidoso, NM, Sharon Clark of Oklahoma City, OK, Clyde A. "Pat" King of Rockwall, TX and Mimi Erskine of Sebastian, FL.
