Eldon Spitty

Eldon D. Spitty, 68, of Mescalero passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at his home. He was born February 6, 1949 at Mescalero and had lived at Mescalero all of his life. Eldon was an Evangelist who preached in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California and Nevada. Recently he founded and pastored the Calvary Victory Center at Mescalero.

He married Naomi M. Begay on June 6, 1969 at Mescalero who survives him. He is also survived by his six children, Stephanie S. Spitty, Fleurette O. Spitty, Daverson Davis Spitty, Isiah Spitty, Jacob Spitty and Warren Spitty; four sisters, Una Spitty, Emma D. Aragon, Zelda Speedy and Anjelora Spitty; two brothers, Oral Spitty Sr. and Kenton Spitty and eight grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 9, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM with the prayer service at 6:00 PM at the Mescalero Community Center where the funeral service will be on Monday, April 10, at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at the Mescalero Cemetery.
