Edgar Daklugie

Edgar Eli Daklugie, 66, of Mescalero passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2015 in Rio Rancho. He was born July 1, 1948 at Albuquerque and had lived at Mescalero all of his life.

He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was former security officer at the Inn of the Mountain Gods, he was good hunter, singer of native traditional songs and was an artist.

He is survived by one child, Asa Eli Daklugie; two grandchildren; sisters and brother, Christine Elaine Sanchez, Ramona B. Baeza, Iona Mae "Cris" Pena and Frizzell J. Frizzell.

Prayer service will be Thursday, March 5, at 6:00 PM at the Mescalero Baptist Church where the funeral will be on Friday, March 6, at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at the White Tail Cemetery.
