It is with deep sadness and heartfelt love that we announce the passing of Eddie R. Sanchez, who passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones on June 11, 2026, at the age of 75.

Eddie was a devoted family man, loyal friend, and a source of strength, wisdom, and laughter to all who knew him. He lived a life marked by kindness, hard work, and an unwavering love for his tamily. His gentle spirit, warm smile, and caring heart touched countless lives and created memories that will be treasured forever.

Whether sharing stories over a beer, lending a helping hand, or simply being present for those he loved, Eddie had a remarkable way of making people feel valued and welcomed. His legacy of love, compassion, and dedication will continue to live on through his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He leaves behind a family who loved him dearly and will miss him beyond words. Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that he passed peacefully, surrounded by the love that meant so much to him.

Eddie is survived by his wife, Luz Elena Sanchez; sons, Eddie Sanchez, and Mannie Sanchez; daughters, Lucia Veronica “Betty” Polaco and husband Eli, and Christina N. Sanchez and husband Julian Flores; grandchildren, Julien and wife Katlynn, Deven, Josiah, Michael, and Lukas; great-grandchildren, Diego, Nyasia, Ciprianna, and Arlo; and many other loved ones.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Erineo T. Sanchez and Josephine R. Sanchez; sisters, Glroia Stevenson, and Mary Jane Gonzales; and granddaughter, BriAnna E. Sanchez.
