Earl Whitson

Memorial service for Leroy Whitson, 57, of Ruidoso will be Saturday, December 29, at 11:00 AM in the Community United Methodist Church in Ruidoso with a reception to follow.

Leroy passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012 at his home. He was born October 14, 1955 at Ouray, Colorado and was raised in Farmington. He loved to paint, cook and read and was a very good artist. He had lived in Ruidoso for 25 years moving from Las Cruces. He was a hair stylist.

He is survived by his companion, Thomas Tsosie mother, Joyce Whitson two brothers, Harry Whitson and Don Whitson niece, Loretta Martinez and two nephews, Willie Werito and Matthew Werito two great nieces, Sydney Werito and Regan Werito and great nephew, Charles Werito. He was preceded in death by a sister, LaDonna Whitson.
