Dr. Lockridge

Dr. William Eugene Lockridge of Ruidoso, NM and Crosby, TX passed away Thursday, July 2 in Ruidoso. He was born September 9, 1931 to Edward & Josephine Lockridge. Major Lockridge served in the U.S. Army from 1947 to 1968, retiring in El Paso, TX. In 1957 he met his wife, Loanda Brooks Lockridge, in Huntsville, AL where he was stationed and were married for 59 wonderful years. In 1975 he earned his PhD in Psychology from New Mexico State University.

Bill had a nature you could not help loving. We will miss his smile, his warm laughter, but most of all we will miss him!

He is survived by his wife, Loanda; his son, Stephen Lockridge and wife, Roseanna; his daughter Wendy Reed and husband, Chris; grandchildren, Rodney & Helen Reed, Justin & Lindsey Reed, Joshua Lockridge, Sarah & David Long and Kelley & Jacob Rogers; great grandchildren, Aubree Reed & Connor Reed.

A Memorial Service will be held at LaGrone Funeral Chapel in Ruidoso on Wednesday, July 8 at 4 p.m.
