Dorothy Goddard

Dorothy Agnus Goddard, loving mother and sister, passed peacefully on to her heavenly home the morning of January 29, 2018. Dorothy was born January 26, 1932 in Mattituck, New York to George and Sophie Minnick. She was 86 years old.

Dorothy married Thomas Henry Goddard April 7, 1951 at St. Martin of Tours Church, Bethpage, NY. She was blessed to raise five children all of whom survived her: Michael, Thomas, David, Robert and Wendy. She dedicated her life to her family and instilled into her children her kind and giving personality.

Dorothy is also survived by her son-in-law Frank Ludwig and her daughter-in-law Olga Katsuk, four grandchildren Thomas Patrick Goddard, Roni Lee DeFalco, Daniel Wayne Goddard, and Lindsay Marie Goddard and by marriage grandchild Dmytri Katsuk and great grandchild Arie Katsuk.

Two of Dorothy's five siblings, sisters Margie Minnick and Betty Smith, survive her. Brothers George Minnick and John Minnick and her sister Shirley Emge preceded her.

Dorothy will be buried alongside her husband at Fort Stanton Veterans Cemetery in Fort Stanton, New Mexico.
