Doris Stewart

Doris W. Stewart, 85, passed on to be with the Lord on March 10, 2015 in Ruidoso, NM. She was born Sept 3, 1929 in Colorado City, TX, the first daughter of parents J.B. and Pearl Marlow, deceased, and the sister of the deceased Marcia Gulledge of Lovington, NM. She became the bride of Bill Stewart on February 10,1951 in Clovis, NM. They raised 3 children, Greg Stewart of Ruidoso, Barbara Peterson of Newark, TX, and Kelly Stewart of Albuquerque, NM (deceased). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren, a daughter in law, Charlotta Stewart of Ruidoso and son in law Jackie Peterson of Newark, TX.

Graveside services celebrating her life is scheduled for March 21, 2015 at 10:30 AM at the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Hobbs, NM.

Her greatest joy in life was watching her family enjoy one another. May her greatest joy in heaven be walking in the presence of Jesus and the friends and family that were there to greet her. Her quick wit, sense of humor, and loyal love will be missed by her friends and family.
