Dr. Donald "Doc" Ogilvie, 84, of Ruidoso passed away Sunday, September 20, 2015 in Ruidoso. He was born September 23, 1930 at Detroit, Michigan.
Doc served in the Army during the Korean War. He was appointed to the Medical Review Licensing Committee by Governor Brown for the State of California. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Detroit and also a member of the Elk's Lodge. He moved to Ruidoso from California in 1997. He married Donna Lee Evans on February 23, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan.
He is survived by his wife, Donna L. Oglivie; son, David Alex Ogilvie; two daughters, Diane Kay Medcalf and Dina Janette Garner and her husband Scott; two grandchildren, Wesley William Adaza and Rachel Janette Adaza.
His funeral service will be Friday, September 25, at 2:00 PM in LaGrone Funeral Chapel.
The family has requested memorials to the Alzheimer's Association.
