Dominic Mendez

Visitation for Dominic Cruz Mendez, 40, of Mescalero will be Monday, Feb. 16, in LaGrone Funeral Chapel of Ruidoso from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. The prayer service will be Monday, Feb. 16, at 6:00 PM in St. Joseph's Mission where the funeral mass will be on Tuesday, Feb. 17, at 10:00 AM with burial to follow at the LaPaz Family Cemetery. Mr. Mendez passed away Friday, Feb. 13, in Ruidoso, he was born June 17, 1968 at Mescalero and had lived there all of his life. He worked has a ranch hand, a Hot Shot and with the Helitack. He married Christine Marie LaPaz on May 13, 1995 at Mescalero. He is survived by his wife, Christine; children, Brian Cruz Mendez and Kylie Nicole Mendez; father, Charles Mendez; 7 brothers and sisters, Warren Mendez, Sonya Morin, Angelica Mendez, Jose Mendez, Rebecca Mendez, Ernesto Mendez and April Mendez.
