Diana Vigil

Visitation for Diana Peso Vigil, 35, of Mescalero will be Tuesday, Aug. 5, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at LaGrone Funeral Chapel in Ruidoso. The prayer service will be Tuesday, Aug. 5, at 6:00 PM in St. Joseph's Mission at Mescalero where the funeral mass will be on Wednesday, Aug. 6, at 10:00 AM. Diana passed away Saturday, Aug. 2, on the Mescalero Apache Reservation on Route 4. She was born March 4, 1973 at Mescalero and had lived there all of her life. She was a clerk at the Mescalero Indian Hospital and before that has worked with U.S. Forestry for 20 years. She attended St. Joseph's Mission. She is survived by her children, Dominique Peso, Fabian Ortega, and Zane Ortega; her father, Dominic Peso and mother, Marlene Peso; a brother, Donald Herrera; two sisters, Deanna Poncho and Donna Kesero.
