David Weber

May 10, 1940 — February 9, 2016

David Laverne Weber passed away peacefully at his home on February 9, 2016. He was 75 years old.

Born May 10, 1940, in Buffalo, New York, David came to Texas in his early 20s to strike out on his own. His charisma, business sense, and work ethic allowed him to build a successful business, Burleson Pipe & Steel. He retired in 2007, when he and his wife, Rita, retired to the mountain home of their dreams in Ruidoso, NM. He was a self-made man of much success, but his true passion was his family.

As a husband, father, and grandfather, David was second to none. He was a father who would attend every one of his sons' games, a husband who would shop for hours for the perfect pair of Uggs to give his wife for Christmas, and the sort of man who would stop whatever he was doing to give you advice. Every time David said goodbye he reminded you that you were loved, and to always be good to one another. His heart and his door were always open.

The wife, sons, daughters, grandchildren, and dogs David left here on earth miss him deeply. But heaven has gained a motorcycle-riding, poker-playing, wise-cracking, one-of-a-kind angel. He could not, and will not, ever be forgotten.
