David Morris

David J. Morris, 90, of Capitan passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at his home. He was born July 27, 1928 at Lincoln, New Mexico and had lived in Lincoln County all of his life. He was a heavy equipment operator.


He is survived by his daughters, Ida F. Hobbs of El Paso, Leona Montoya of Roswell, and Mildred R. Morris of Capitan; five granddaughters, several great grandchildren and a step-brother, Wayne Purcella.

His funeral was Friday, September 21 at the Tinnie Baptist Church with burial at the Tinnie Cemetery.
