David William Berg, 52 years of age, passed away Monday, May 2, 2022 after a prolonged illness. David was born November 11, 1969, in Houston, Texas. After graduating in Brenham, Texas, David went on to a career in construction and property management for his family. A patriotic conservative, David believed strongly in the goodness and strength of our country and loved America deeply. He lived in Ruidoso for many years, had many friends, and was the type of fellow who never met a stranger, and could talk to anyone about anything.

David is predeceased by his beloved brother, Eric Berg, and is survived by his loving mother, Nancy Berg of Ruidoso.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 9, 2022, Gavilan Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 671 Gavilan Canyon Rd, Ruidoso, NM. In lieu of flowers, David’s family requests donations be made to Animal Village NM, an organization that Nancy Berg co-founded, and that they have both believed in and supported since 2010. Donations can be made online at AnimalVillageNM.org, or mailed to Animal Village NM, 1703 Sudderth Drive, #564, Ruidoso, NM, 88345.
