Danny Wood

Danny Wayne Wood, 64, passed away at his home in Capitan, NM on October 23, 2016.
Danny was born in Seminole, Oklahoma on December 31, 1951 to Curtis Wayne
and Patsy Ruth Wood.

He married Minnie Boken on April 20, 2004 in Roswell, NM.

Danny is survived by his wife, Minnie: a sister, Donna Harkey (Steve):
brothers, Norvell Carpenter (Kateri) and Byron L. Carpenter: numerous
nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, Lamoyne Carpenter and a brother, Steven Lee Wood.

Danny was a carpenter by trade. He was always willing to lend a hand and
will be greatly missed by his neighbors and friends.

A graveside service will be held at the Capitan Cemetery on Friday, October 28th at 11:00 A.M.
A luncheon will follow at the Church of Christ in Capitan.

Pallbearers are Byron Carpenter, Shane Carpenter, Steve Harkey, Norvell
Carpenter, Jeff Reed, Karlton Reed, Garland Staggs and Mark Hicks.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Christian Children's
Home, 1356 New Mexico 236, Portales, NM 88130.
