Cole Guadalupe Casares, age 29, beloved father, son and brother, passed from this life on May 26, 2023 in Tularosa, New Mexico. Cole was born on October 12, 1993 in Ruidoso, New Mexico to Robert Casares and Jo Lynn Blazer-Cochise.
Cole spent most of his life growing up on his beautiful Mescalero Apache Indian Reservation where he enjoyed the outdoors together with the many friends and family that he had. He attended Tularosa High School where he graduated in May 2012, where he later pursued some college courses at NMSU. Cole enjoyed cooking, where he developed his skills making a living for some time as a short order cook.
Cole was a devoted father who loved his children very much and would do anything for them. He had a deep passion for music of all types, where he learned to play drums and, most recently, harmonica. He also enjoyed and became quite good at playing video games with friends all over the country, as well as watching his favorite movies, viewing many time and time again. All that were close to him knew that Cole was a kind sole, always thinking of others, seeing where he could help someone out whenever possible. Finally, he loved caring for his yard, continually making sure that it was trimmed, watered and “looking good”.
Cole is survived by his father, Robert Casares and wife Kaycee; his mother, Jo Lynn Blazer-Cochise and husband Winston; his four children, Diana Lynn Casares, Leanna Rose Casares, Marcus Dominic Casares and Luca Guadalupe Casares; the children’s mother, Dominique Peso; his siblings, Clint David Casares, Christy Little Rain Vigil, Chenoah Lynn Vigil, Camryn Casares, Robyn Casares, and Chrysten Casares. He is also survived by his Great Grandmother, Leeta Rose Blazer, his Grandmother Theresa A. Harrison and Grandparents Arthur “Butch” Blazer and his wife Joyce. He is preceded in death by his Grandfather, Guadalupe Casares, his Grandmother, Sybil Belin-Casares and his Uncle, Jody Casares.
